Class details: The perfect course for children from year 7 upwards, whatever their pottery experience. The children will be taught a range of hand building skills including slab and coil work, plus they will be shown how to throw on the wheel. Student will also have the opportunity to explore various decorating techniques using coloured slip, underglazes and dipping glazes. Children will need to bring their own apron to wear.
Course dates and times: The runs from Saturday 7th November - Saturday 12th December, 9-11am. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO CLASS ON SATURDAY 28th NOV.
Course fee: The course costs £125 and includes the firing and glazing of 4 finished pieces. Students are welcome to keep as many of their creations as they like, but there is a small fee for the clay, glaze and firing of other pieces.
Catch up sessions: Unfortunately there isn’t the opportunity to catch up on any missed sessions.
