Our location

Our beautiful studio is based in a fabulous community arts building in Bells Yew Green (just outside Tunbridge Wells, Kent) in the East Sussex countryside. Space2Make is home to dozens of makers and creatives including fine artists, prop and scenery makers, embroiderers, florists and jewellery makers to name a few.

What we do

Courses: Here at The Mud Rooms we run throwing and hand building pottery courses for beginners and improvers for both adults and children. We have courses running during the day and in the evening and kids’ classes on the weekend and after school.

Membership: We also offer monthly membership for independent potters who are looking for facilities and company. Members get a weekly, four-hour session, access to a wheel, work bench, slab roller (game changer, trust us), tools, glazes, underglazes and slips.

Parties: We host kids and adult pottery parties for up to 7 guests, plus corporate events parties in our larger space for around 30 attendees.

Workshops: We hold one-off taster sessions and specialist workshops, often hosted on the weekends.
